For nearly 20 years, prior to consulting, Elisa served as an impactful senior staff member for several national trade and individual membership associations. Her focus has always been on engagement, whether grassroots advocacy or the development and advancement of regional chapter affiliates domestically and internationally. With a unique background in advocacy and activism, membership and stakeholder relations, as well as association management and operations, Elisa’s diverse expertise and makes her a valuable partner and adviser to both non-profit and corporate clients. Elisa holds a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the America Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
A former association chief executive, for 15 years Andrew held c-suite positions in associations across the UK. Since 2016 he has worked internationally to provide expert support in leadership development, business strategy, and good corporate governance. With a proven pedigree in understanding and maximizing association business dynamics, engagement, and growth, from 2020-22 he volunteered as the Executive Director of the Institute of Association Leadership ; is the founder of the Cambridge Governance Symposium; the author of the NETpositive Governance™ model; editor of the IAL Almanac; co-author of compass: the systems map for association leadership; and is co-host of the transatlantic podcast Association Transformation.
